Intrigued, and being relatively new to DSG and stop/start, I have just given this a try: Press brake pedal firmly enough to activate stop/start - put shifter in P - apply parking brake - remove foot from brake pedal - engine remains stopped. Press brake pedal again, engage D/S - release parking brake - remove foot from brake pedal - engine

I have driven manual start/stop vehicles before and have got used to them, but yesterday I tested a vRS with DSG and that is just wierd it being in gear and it stopping itself and starting again whilst in gear, wierd, will I keep it on when I receive my car, not sure, maybe, maybe not, I am sure like many things the start/stop sytem suits some people but not others.
If the load required by the car on the battery is high it is not stopping. If the ambient temp is low it is not, and if the temp you set in the car is too far from the ambient / outside temp it is not stopping. That is how the system is designed to be. To get the WLTP certification and RDE2 even if you never allow the stop / start to operate
Kertoimesikin ovat vain tarkoitushakuisesti valittu vailla mitään tietoa. Ei pakokaasujenkaan käsittelyjärjestelmän ikä tyhjäkäynnistä varsinaisesti pitene, mutta eipä senkään kesto nyt mikään ongelma ole. Start-stop on ehtinyt jo 15 vuoden ikään ja kaikki noista satuilemistasi ongelmista ovat vielä toteen näyttämättä.
